Caregiver / Household Support Assistant
Location: Borrego Springs, CA and Surrounding Areas
We are seeking a dependable, compassionate, and detail-oriented Caregiver / Household Support Assistant to provide light caregiving and household assistance for clients in Borrego Springs and nearby communities. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping others maintain a clean, organized, and comfortable home environment while providing friendly companionship and support.
Responsibilities
- Perform light housekeeping duties
- General cleaning of kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and common living areas
- Dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors
- Organizing household items and maintaining a tidy environment
- Laundry, folding clothes, and changing bed linens
- Washing dishes and light kitchen cleanup
- Meal preparation and simple cooking assistance as needed
- Grocery shopping and running errands
- Provide companionship and friendly conversation
- Assist with daily household tasks while promoting client independence
- Observe and report any changes in the client's condition or needs
Qualifications
- Previous caregiving or housekeeping experience preferred
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
- Dependable, trustworthy, and punctual
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Background check required
Compensation: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
